1.  Luneville Hook (Beginner - One is enough)

The light wood-colored Luneville  hook is the official hook from the French Lesage.
The other two are domestically produced , which are relatively inexpensive.
They are also quite comfortable to use. Choose a basic crochet hook; beginners should focus on lightweight designs.

2. Needle for Luneville hook

(#70 and #80 are the most commonly used)

Fineest size: 70, #80, #90…. #120 is the thickest.

✔️Only buy size 80 (the cut length should not exceed 2.5cm).

✖️Original hooks need to be cut; most commercially available hooks are already cut.

✨Buy only one color. A slightly darker saturated color is recommended for better observation of the stitching and to allow for more practice.

4. Organza

organza silk - available in various colors, off-white is the most common.

5. Round Embroidery Hoop (For practice and small projects)

A round embroidery hoop approximately 13-15cm in size is sufficient.

If you decide to pursue further studies, I recommend that you purchase a French embroidery frame.
